The house is set on a 1,550 square meter lot with 190sqm of internal level living space.
A roofed terrace of 80 square meter surrounds 2 sides of the house and has direct access to the 200 square meter paved pool terrace.
The pool terrace has its own the outdoor dining area under a romantic pergola with retractable weather proof awning and a handmade tile table that can easily seat 10 people.
The 5x 10m saltwater pool with tiled terrace, relaxation zone with Jacuzzi, is the most recent renovation. The pool has been modernized, and retiled with glass mosaics. New lighting and a handrail have also been added.
Surrounding the pool are 90 square meters of slate and 60 square meters of timber decking. On one side we have laid a giant chess board pattern directly into the tiles.
The gardens have been edged with local stone and a meter wide ramp has been built to provide access for wheelchairs.
The outdoor shower has also been revamped with mosaic slate, glass tiles and a new shower fitting. Low energy lighting has been installed all around. The overall effect is very natural and offer a sense of tranquil, serene harmony.
The dining area its large solid wood table which seats 8 people. This is a unique and original piece, hand- made for the house. A one meter wide double sided glass fire place is set in the wall separating the dining room from the living room and gently warms both.
New energy efficient, design heating elements were added in 2011 and blend in with the tasteful decoration of the kitchen, dining, lounge and entertainments areas.
The old massive carved wooden doors, well known in most Spanish homes, have been replaced with etched glass sliding doors in the main entrance to afford even more natural light flow.
The heavy Spanish furniture has been replaced with interesting design pieces, mixed with some old family favorites.
The artwork throughout the house is part of the family collection and many pieces are works of friends from all over the world.
